About Andrzej Łakomy
Andrzej Łakomy is a trained transport engineer with a professional career dating back to the late 1980s. Early on, his focus shifted from engineering to international foreign trade. He initially worked for a state-owned foreign trade company, later moving to a private company.
Since the early 1990s, Andrzej Łakomy has enjoyed a close partnership with WAGENER Schwelm—at that time still a traditional family business based in Germany. Even in this early phase, he began to represent WAGENER Vulcanizers exclusively in Poland.
After more than a decade of experience in foreign trade, Andrzej Łakomy founded his own trading company in 1997. Its focus: representing German manufacturers of conveyor belt systems and their complete maintenance and repair technology for the Polish market.

Even after NILOS GmbH took over WAGENER Vulcanizers, Andrzej Łakomy stayed on as the exclusive rep for the brand in Poland. Over the years, they’ve worked together to deliver hundreds of systems in all sorts of configurations to big-name customers in the mining and transport industries. Despite structural changes in the energy sector, WAGENER Vulcanizers – under his leadership – remains the leading supplier for the Polish underground mining industry.

The self-regulating ceramic heating system automatically and continuously adjusts the temperature up to a maximum of 165°C.
